About Signed Off
Planning officers and building control ask for reports. Finding who can do them, and whether they are qualified, shouldn’t take a week of phone calls.
Why we built this
Every extension, conversion and new home comes with a list of reports: SAP calculations, air tests, sound tests, bat surveys, tree surveys and more. Each one needs a different specialist with a different accreditation, and most of them are small firms that are hard to find and compare.
Signed Off brings them together in one place, explains in plain English what each report is and when you need it, and shows which providers cover your area.
Who is behind it
Signed Off is a trading name of Greenlight Surveyors Ltd. The guides are written and reviewed by Dan Wallis, who works in energy assessment and retrofit.
How we make money
Searching and using the guides is free. We earn from clearly labelled adverts, optional featured listings paid for by providers, and quote requests passed to providers. None of these changes whether a provider appears, or the checks we describe on how we check listings.
