The postcode search and the “compare providers” tool don’t use cookies.
If you buy a featured listing, you pay on Stripe’s own checkout page, and Stripe may set cookies there that it needs for secure payment and fraud prevention. Those are covered by Stripe’s cookie policy.
Your choice
Nothing on the site needs your consent at the moment, so you won’t see a cookie banner. If we add analytics, the banner described below will ask first.
When something on the site needs cookies, a banner at the bottom of the page asks before anything is set. You can choose Accept or Necessary only. The site works the same either way.
We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage (an item called “signedoff-consent”), so we don’t ask on every page. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice, so it doesn’t need consent itself. It isn’t sent to us.
You can change your mind at any time. Once the banner is in use, use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page to bring the banner back. If you switch from Accept to Necessary only, we stop Google Analytics and delete its cookies from this site. Clearing your browser’s site data also resets your choice.
Advertising
We may later show Google AdSense adverts to help pay for the site. If we do, Google’s own consent message will ask for your permission first, and this page will list the cookies it uses.
